Over the years, GP has embraced additional opportunities outside of non-profits. Companies like Blue Earth Compost, a Socially Responsible Company (SRC) use their position and resources for something more than pleasing their shareholders and increasing their bottom line; they operate on a business model that focuses on social change, sharing its success with their local and global communities. This provides support for adults with social challenges by providing employment opportunities in fields they enjoy.
Cheshire Pollinator Pathway
Part of the grassroots movement responding to global declines in insect populations, including monarch butterflies, from pesticide use, lack of native plants, light pollution & loss of habitat. It's led to a chain reaction in the food web, affecting birds, their nestlings & mammals.

Cheshire Lights of Hope
Cheshire Lights of Hope
Following an extended quarantine due to COVID, this community-wide collaboration brought the whole town outdoors and together in a "community growing" project in the Summer of 2021. More than 10,000 sunflower seeds were given away. Cheshire was adorned in sunflowers.
